Marisa Jorda is a member of the Board of Directors of Merlin Properties, serving as a Member of the Sustainability and Technology Committee and a Member of the Audit Committee (she was Chair of the Audit Committee for 4 years and Chair of the Appointments and Remuneration Committee for more than 5 years). She is also a member of the Board of Directors of Grupo BANKINTER (financial institution), where she serves as Chair of the Risk and Compliance Committee, as well as a Member of the Audit Committee and the Executive Committee. She has also been a member of the Sustainability and Appointments Committee (and was Chair of the Audit Committee for 4 years). Since 2020, she has been a Senior Advisor to Laboratorios Normon. Additionally, she is Chair of the Technical Advisory Committee of the Institute of Internal Auditors of Spain and a professor in the Board of Directors Program at the business schools ESADE, IESE, IE, and the Colegio de Abogados.
She has previously served on the Board and the Audit and Control Committee of Tubos Reunidos, S.A., and was a member of the Board of the European Finance Bank (Unicaja Group), where she chaired the Audit Committee. Marisa was also a member of the Jazztel Board and chaired the Audit Commission. Furthermore, she is a member of the Governing Board and the Audit Committee of the Institute of Directors and Administrators (ICA).
Throughout her more than 30-year professional career, Marisa has held various executive positions, participating in different Management, Investment, and Audit Committees. Notable roles include General Economic-Financial Director of the Deoleo Group, Director of Internal Audit and Corporate Governance at Metrovacesa, and General Director of Finance and Investments at the ONCE Business Corporation, among others in the Real Estate and Food sectors.
