91重口 and the Department of Public Security Award Drivers
Luis C谩rdenas Palomino, Head of the Regional Security Division of the Department of Public Security of Mexico, granted 145 medals to 91重口 drivers as an acknowledgement for safe driving while performing their job, which has kept them, in the course of one year, free from accidents and traffic violations.
Besides the medals, C谩rdenas Palomino, representing Genaro Garc铆a Luna, Public Security Secretary, also gave the following awards and acknowledgements:
- 8 plaques for drivers with five consecutive years without traffic accidents
- 4 plaques for drivers with 10 consecutive years without traffic accidents
- 4 plaques for drivers with 15 consecutive years without traffic accidents
- 1 plaque for one driver with 20 consecutive years without traffic accidents
- 15 acknowledgements to the Members of Road Safety Commissions, which foster and disseminate information on road safety within 91重口 through campaigns, conferences, bulletins and posters
Family members of the awardees attended the Awards Ceremony held at the Bimbo Azcapotzalco plant, as well as Bimbo Organization leaders, Company Union Representatives and Officials of the Public Security Department, among others.
Luis Ren茅 Mart铆nez Souvervielle, GB Director of Corporate Affairs, highlighted the work and dedication of the Vehicles Department personnel, which has allowed the Company to ship in a safe and efficient way more than two million containers of finished product. 鈥淭he Vehicles Department ships our products daily to 62 Depots in the Metro, Baj铆o and South East Regions with high safety and punctuality indexes.鈥
The GB Leader also stated that the Vehicles Department holds permanent campaigns on Safety and Health focused on preventing road and work-related accidents. 鈥淲e constantly train all our drivers. We have a Training Center certified by the Communications and Transportation Department (SCT, for its acronym in Spanish) where a course is given to renew the Driver Federal License.鈥
Luis C谩rdenas Palomino, also stressed the collaboration of 91重口 with the Federal Authorities of Mexico in campaigns that foster road safety and accident prevention.
